Trails School.

Progress through the levels.

For 2009 we’ve introduced a grading system to clarify our classes.

We’ve now got:

Level 1 – Blue and Red grade trails.
For riders looking to pick the essentials on how to ride a mountain bike. carrying your speed, balance and confidence is the main focus here.

Level 2 – Red and Black grade trails.
For more experienced riders who want to get the tough sections better or faster or for riders progressing from Level 1. Bigger drops, roots, rocks and tighter switchbacks are all included. Confidence on steeper terrain and at faster speeds is one key area. Learning more advanced tchniques on berms and climbing is also included. This is pretty much perfect for anyone who’s been riding mountain bikes for years but thinks they could go that bit faster.

Whether you’ve entered a cross country, enduro, 24hr race or just ride when you can. You’ll discover huge benefits from your time with Dirt School. Just ask the Creber’s – Scotlands best World Class XC talent. They’ve found massive benefits from their time at Dirt School. Not to mention the Scottish XC squad and trail centre riders UK wide.

Skills covered include cornering and carrying speed, berms, switchbacks, manuals, roots and many more. So far, trail centre riders and novices have benefitted hugely from learning these skills, just check out the Testimonials page.

Courses are taken by Elite Dirt School XC rider Andy Barlow, Dirt School founder Chris Ball or Rowan Sorrell in Wales. Either way, you’ll get the best tuition available on UK shores.

Classes are restricted to 6 people to give everyone plenty of personal attention.

All XC courses are also available for private groups.

Dirt School can also travel, so if your club, team or group of mates are wanting a session on a local patch, just get in touch. We’ll try our hardest to get to you.
