An MBLA Internationally recognised qualification with added benefits. Using our established mountain bike coaching methods coupled with an MBLA TCL award we include your own personal development so you're not just left with a ticket, but the ability to match it.
Our MBLA TCL training differs from everyone else in one simple way. We sandwich a day of mountain bike coaching in between your two mandatory days of leadership tuition. The theory is simple, our accredited MBLA Tutor, Brian Salvona introduces the award and the fundamentals of what you need on day one, followed by a focussed day on your own riding on day two and followed again on day three by the specifics of becoming a leader.
This way, you can get a handle on exactly what you need to do before your assessment day and will have genuinely invested in becoming the best leader you can be.

A one day assessment course linked to the MBLA TCL training course. Held in the Tweed Valley, Scotland.

Qualifications / MBLA
Includes:
2 days of core, mandatory MBLA tuition including leadership and navigation.
1 day of personal development of your own skills with a Dirt School coach.
Development plan for your own riding to be used to help you prepare for your assessment.
Course based from The Bike House, Innerleithen.
Residential option available at The Bike House for only £25 extra for two nights (6 beds available).

Prior to booking onto a training course, you need to register with the Mountain Bike Leader Award Scheme at a one-off cost of £50.
We will then provide you with your registration documents, our MBLA training manual, log book & Candidate documents for your course.
