Dirt Magazine
"If you want to go faster... then personally I reckon you'd be better off spending it with these guys rather than on some shiny bit for your bike" Dirt Magazine, May, 2011. Thank you Dirt Mag. featuring in the pages of Dirt is one thing but props for what we're up to is another. Fantastic. Go and buy the new Dirt mag and turn to page 135 for a great feature on our very own Andy Barlow. He talks about how we get to meet the nicest people around, (that's you guys), how we get to watch the riders we work with progress and how satisifying it really is to work with all the great people we get to work with. Hell, Chris even took the photo for the piece. Who says you can't do everything?!

The Search for the Holy Trail
We're delighted to announce that we're teaming up with GO WHERE for a Mountain Bike Skills Safari. A first of it's kind!
Project partners GO WHERE Scotland are experts in mountain bike tourism and bring over 25 years as mountain bike travellers and entrepreneurs, running their own mountain bike adventure company, and mountain bike accommodation Innerhaven in Innerleithen.
Here at Dirt School, we currently provide coaching and development programmes for private customers from throughout the UK. Working with the best and most proven athletes in the country, we'll have a strong identity with both experienced riders and beginners alike.
Together we're creating trips that capitalise on our expertise and the needs of the market; i.e. progressive mountain bike experiences which combine the best of learning and coaching with the most unique mountain experiences and fantastic Scottish culture and hospitality.
With financial support and expertise from the Tourism Innovation Award scheme, we will be in a stronger position to offer this mountain bike adventure experience not yet offered within Scotland. The concept of packaging adventure, rider development and exploration together into 3, 5 and 7 day packages – with options from mellower rides through to pretty extreme terrain - will attract riders from the UK and internationally to visit Scotland, get more from their mountain biking trip to Scotland and secure the Scottish reputation for World Class mountain biking and tourism.
We're really looking froward to the search for the holy trail.

Ball is Content
Chris Ball welcomes readers to this months Dirt Magazine by featuring in an epic Sven Martin photograph taken in New Zealand on Christmas Day 2011. Backyard Clock Competition!
It looks as though competition for the Backyard Clock is hotting up! Some fresh times have gone up for Spooky Wood recently and we're pleased to announce that the fastest time in the Back Yard Clock for Spooky Wood and Electric Blue on the 1st October 2011 will get a free Hoody and T-shirt from us.
We just have to add that you put these times in at your own risk and Dirt School has no responsibility for you out on the trail. The Back Yard Clock is merely a record of the times and not an official event in any shape or form.
So, disclaimer over, go SHRED! I know we're about to.
