These short classes are perfect for continuing to progress your riding in the winter months, with quick tips and expert feedback. Each session focuses on a specific trail, skill or technique, giving you the opportinity to learn and progress safely with other riders.
All of our fantastic courses but run specifically for women. The content we teach is the same as our standard day courses but we understand that sometimes women prefer to learn in a women's specific environment with a female coach.
Kids Academy features the same trusted coaching practices as all of our adult lessons, tailored for young people. Choose from our Kids Academy Youth programme for 3 day progressive sessions for kids aged 7-12 during the school holidays, or the Advanced Academy for 11-17 year olds who really want to shred and progress their skills.
A relaxed day that takes you through the very basics of mountain biking. From fixing a puncture, to being comfortable on your bike and looking after your equipment. The perfect day for any beginner.
The essential day course for all adult riders. This full day covers all the techniques that will allow you to progress onto our next two classes. Covering everything from cornering with speed and control to manuals, drop-offs and getting up technical climbs. Our Trail Craft day will provide you with everything you need to master mountain biking.
Finding Flow and Getting Air
Floating down the trail. This advanced day course for only four adults, takes a close look at how to find balance, grip and speed on fast, flowing terrain. We explain how the experts make it look so easy and give you an insight into how to choose when you want to be in the air and when you want to find grip.
Riding Natural Trails
Using the control and techniques taught in our other classes, this Advanced class takes you out of the trail centre and introduces you to the natural trails in the Tweed Valley. We'll teach you how to find grip, stay in control and understand how to ride slippery roots, tight corners and loose steep chutes.
Steep & Technical
Our Steep & Technical day builds on the content from both our Finding Flow & Getting Air and Riding Natural Trails courses. It takes you onto some of the steep and technical off piste trails that Innerleithen has on offer and teaches you how to find grip and stay in control when the terrain is steep & loose. We'll give you an understanding of how to ride slippery roots and tackle steep tight corners with ease.
Ride the Impossible
Building on our Steep & Technical course content, this is our expert level day course for very experienced adult riders that takes you out onto some of the steepest, gnarliest and most difficult natural trails in the Tweed Valley. We'll teach you how to find grip, stay in control and understand how to ride slippery roots, tight corners and loose steep chutes with confidence and control.
MBCuk leadership course where you'll learn safety and group management, navigation, trailside maintenance, route planning and risk assessments and how to coach groups
Using the control and techniques taught in our other classes, this eBike specific lesson looks at how to get the most out of an E-Bike on the trails. Hire E-Bikes are available on request.
