What you'll learn
- Bike setup including saddle position, handlebar set up, tyre pressure and how to avoid punctures
- Seated pedalling, standing up pedalling and changing gears efficiently and correctly
- Trail etiquette so you feel at home on the trails and with other riders
- Minor trail-side repairs including taking the rear wheel off, quick releases and puncture repair
- Basic body position for balance, safety and stability
- Rolling drops and dealing with steep sections of trail
- What the different brakes do and when to use them
- How to corner including line choice, body position, braking and where to ride on the trail for safety, balance and confidence
- Basic maintenance of your bike
