Dirt School have been working closely with Santa Cruz Bikes UK for almost a decade now, and over that time our team have been fortunate enough to spend time riding on pretty much every bike in the range. Nukeproof Bikes have got to be some of the best riding bikes out there, and come with the best value for money. You just can't go wrong. Nukeproof have been supporting Dirt School since our team rapidly expanded in 2020, with some of us riding Megas, Gigas, and Megawatts across a range of wheel sizes. Not to mention our BASE Performance Coach, Innes Graham, riding an almost stock Giga RS 297 onto an Enduro World Series podium in the Tweed Valley, 2022. It may come as no surprise to see TVB solely stocking Maxxis tyres, they certainly provide the best rubber in the business. With casing and compounds to suit every riders need across a varied range of tread patterns, it doesn't get much better. A component brand run by a team of elite riders, Burgtec understand the importance of making a product that performs on the race track, but that looks good too. As flat pedal advocates here at Dirt School, you'll see our whole team riding the Penthouse MK5s (read our long term review here). It's not just about the pedals though, Burgtec have a wide offering from handlebars, stems and grips to chainrings, axles and more, in a wide range of colours, meaning you can upgrade your bike and make it stand out from the crowd too.
We thought so highly of Smith's products, that we set up as a retail partner with them as soon as Tweed Valley Bikes first opened in 2020. Our team have been strongly behind the products ever since, and we're pleased to announce Dirt School's partnership with Smith for helmets and eyewear for 2023. Our team have been using Sweet Protection's kit for almost a decade, since it came to the UK for the very first time. The Norwegian brand produce high quality products, with protection from both injury and the elements at the forefront - something we've very much tried and tested. As the name dictates, Mudhugger provides protection from the dirt on track through their high quality mudguards. Our team use the Mudhugger Evo Long for maximum protection on the Scottish trails, coming with bolt on mounts for your fork, eliminating the need for zip ties. Check them out here.
